Genetic Lineage
Piña Colada (Nurse Lilly) traces its genetics back to a complex breeding project mixing African and Pakistani landrace genetics. The lineage is a cross of:
-
Jauja: A stabilized Congo selection consisting of a mix of African landraces and Pakistani indica.
-
Queen Mother: A mostly-sativa cross of genetics from La Réunion and the Congo.
Chemotype & Effects
This strain is a high-CBD therapeutic cultivar with very low THC content (4% – 6%), allowing for therapeutic benefits without the psychoactive high. Its terpene profile produces an intensely fruity, tropical, and sweet aroma with distinct pineapple notes.
Experience: Users report effects that are uplifting, cerebral, ecstatic, and physically calming, making this an excellent medicinal choice.
Note: This is the therapeutic CBD-dominant phenotype. It is distinct from the commercially available THC-dominant “Piña Colada” strain bred from Banana Kush x Starburst Bubba.
